NurseNow was founded by Liner Wakhungu, a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist with over nine years of expertise in nursing and healthcare. Her vision emerged from recognizing critical gaps in accessible, specialized home healthcare across Kenya.
Drawing from her experience across healthcare settings, Liner identified the need for a platform that connects patients with rigorously vetted nursing professionals who can provide quality care in the comfort of their homes.
NurseNow was born from the founder’s passion to ensure that even people who lack a local support system can still receive the services they need. Being a patient mentor and advocate are extremely important aspects of nursing, but those resources often end once the patient is discharged. NurseNow helps bridge that gap.
