NurseNow Help

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about requesting care, joining as a provider and using the secure NurseNow care platform.

How do I request home care?

Create a client account, provide the patient care details, location and preferred schedule, then submit the request securely. NurseNow coordinates the appropriate provider workflow from the platform.

Are NurseNow providers verified?

Yes. Verification depends on the provider role. Nurses and clinical officers require current professional credentials. Caregivers and nurse aides use National ID, CV and training certificates and are not required to hold a professional licence.

Can I request a caregiver instead of a nurse?

Yes, where the requested support is within caregiver scope. Tasks that require licensed clinical practice must be assigned to an appropriately qualified professional.

What happens when a nurse licence expires?

A licensed provider with an expired professional licence cannot switch availability on for new care until a renewed licence has been reviewed and approved.

Can I see what happened during a visit?

Authorised clients and family members can receive clinically reviewed, family-safe visit summaries. Internal clinical notes, protected images and restricted escalation records are not automatically exposed.

How do I join as a provider?

Register as a provider, wait for account approval, complete your profile and upload the credentials required for your role. Eligibility for new care begins only after the required verification is complete.

How do organisations use NurseNow?

Hospitals, agencies, employers and insurers can create organisation accounts to coordinate referrals, teams, schedules, clinical escalations and quality reporting within their own scoped workspace.
